STAHL CALLS FOR LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE FROM CONGRESS
(San Diego, CA) Today, the Stahl for Congress Committee outlined it’s plan and called on Congress to lead by example. Stahl for Congress calls for Congress to take 15% pay cuts, cut the staff from 22 to12, have Congress take no pensions and institute a 90% reduction in the franking privilege from $250,000 to $25,000 per year.
“I am so tired of hearing from the incumbent political class that there is no place to cut,”
stated John K. Stahl, who is running for Congressional seat 52 in San Diego. “When we fought and won WW2, each office was authorized to have 2 aides, while today, 22 staffers is nothing more than bureaucracy and self promotion,” added Stahl. Stahl announced the plan on his radio show, “Solutions for America.” The show airs on KCEO AM1000 in San Diego and is available worldwide on www.kceoradio.com at 1pm CA time every Monday.
John is a former Naval Aviator who graduated from the Naval Training Command with the designation of Distinguished Naval Graduate. He holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. He started his 30-year career in the semiconductor industry with Texas Instruments and was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for not only TRW/LSI Products but also Raytheon Semiconductor here in San Diego.
“This federal debt going from $14 trillion to $23 trillion is not going to serve your family or your country well,” stated Stahl, “and it is time for Congress to show some leadership by example and start to make common sense cuts.”
“The people that I am meeting every week want this spending to stop and leadership by example requires someone to stand up and lead,” stated Stahl, “and that is what I am doing.”
The Stahl for Congress committee is committed to running an issues oriented campaign that puts focus on common sense solutions to these mounting problems that the status quo seems incapable of addressing.
