Josh Caesar is a focused and driven leader who seeks to be the new face and voice for the Third District of Texas.

Josh Caesar was born in India and grew up in North Texas.  Along with his parents and two siblings, Josh immigrated to the United States at the early age of eight years old and eventually became a naturalized citizen through his parents.  During his childhood, Josh was influenced by family and powerful role models who demonstrated the qualities of honesty, integrity, self-discipline, strong work ethic and perseverance.

Josh’s family heritage included pastors and educators, who affirmed early in childhood the value of a relationship with God and the importance of education.  He was involved in church activities that facilitated the development of his faith, and served to provide the foundation for his value system.  He currently attends First Baptist Church McKinney.  Josh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Midwestern State University and a Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.

Josh achieved various honors growing up that would help further develop his leadership skills.  Two years in a row, he was among only five boys selected from the state of Texas to travel to Austin to meet the Governor of Texas and compete regionally for the Boy of the Year award from the Boys’ Clubs of America.  He also served as Student Council President in high school.  In college, he earned numerous scholarships for academics and leadership.  He was also a student ambassador in his senior year in college and played soccer.

Since college, Josh has gained more than 22 years of experience in the software engineering and high tech industry.  Josh has provided leadership on several levels ranging from project to engineering management.  The team members on the projects consisted of diverse groups which facilitated his development of both problem solving and interpersonal communication skills.

Now a father and husband, Josh loves spending time with his family, often serving as a volunteer soccer and baseball coach.  He is a 21 year resident of the Dallas area and a lifelong Republican.  Running, fitness training, soccer, wood working and fishing are activities that he enjoys in his leisure time.
