Profession:

I am a political science teacher. When I taught in the Baltimore County School system, I pioneered a new teaching methodology called ACTIVISM IN THE CLASSROOM.

Accomplishments:

Pioneered new teaching methodology ACTIVISM IN THE CLASSROOM; Developed curriculum, Government Theory and Practical Application, implemented in 5 private schools; Motivated students to design National Youth Communications Week (signed into law by President Nixon);Propelled students to create and succeed in introducing several bills into Congress (Guide dog bill, Ban on non-returnable bottles);Established drug counseling center for troubled youth, People for Community Action
Started AMTRAK Project for public safety; Launched BGE battle focusing on shortage of BGE crews for restoration of power after power outages; Campaigned for retirement of Elrod Hendricks Number: Initiated 2 federal and 1 state lawsuits; Formed ETHICS PARTY; Started the following projects – Project Six to One – dignity for the elderly; Save A Life – program for elderly and lonely; Project Kindness – help people in finding jobs; Adopt-A-Resident Program in nursing homes; Started Adopt-A-Soldier in Iraq

    This ‘bio’ sounds interesting, and possibly even tempting, but what can/will you contribute as Maryland’s representative to the U.S. Senate? Also, how do you plan to defeat Ben Cardin?
