Who I Am
I plan to be your next Senator from the State of Maryland because most people only know the half of it when it comes to how incompetent our current government is to serving the needs of the human being. I was a firefighter for 13 years in the Baltimore City Fire Department. During my career, I was assigned to Truck Company #1, Baltimore’s busiest truck. In my last year of service, we responded to over 3500 calls for service. Approximately 900 of these responses for were for fire related service and the remaining were for Emergency Medical calls for assistance. Full details of my service with the department is included on this site and can be accessed by following the link “why i am running for senator” but to make a long story short right now, I was seriously injured in the Line of Duty and the City denied me of all of my benefits because of an administrative error. While I have been in constant pursuit of my benefits, I have found that I am not alone. There are plenty of other firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and other non classified City employees that have had their lives destroyed because of the arrogance of our officials.If you have the time, please read my story.
