Neil Burns is a long term resident of the Woodlands, Texas. He has been married to Stephanie Burns for 29 years and has two children, now 25 and 24 years old. He began his professional career with Shell Oil Company in 1978 as a Financial Analyst. Over his career, he has held numerous management positions including Credit Manager, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer and has also received numerous special recognition awards during his service. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas.
He is a supporter of the Montgomery County Democratic Party and recently attended the Texas Democratic Party’s Campaign School in Austin, Texas.
