“America’s Toughest Sheriff” Joe Arpaio Endorses Vernon Robinson for Congress in NC-8

Concord, NC – Today, the Robinson for Congress campaign announced that “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, AZ, has endorsed Vernon Robinson for Congress in the 8th District of North Carolina.

“I am honored and humbled by this endorsement from Sheriff Joe Arpaio,” said Vernon Robinson.  “Every day, Sheriff Joe shows his true colors — which are his conservative ideals.  He believes, as I do, in securing the border and in upholding the constitutional laws of our great nation.  He reminds us that government is beholden to the people — not the other way around.  Our representatives in Congress would do well to remember that.

“Sheriff Joe does not back down from a battle with the liberals who have sought to harm our wonderful nation.  He understands that the American people need leaders with strong backbones, who will not fold like a lawn chair at the first sign of liberal resistance.

“I value Sheriff Joe’s endorsement, especially because it gives heartburn to the Obama administration.  President Obama and his colleague, Democrat Congressman Larry Kissell, need to understand that hard-working, law-abiding Americans do not support this administration’s disastrous policies.
