Momentum continues for Mike Clark, Congressional candidate for Connecticut’s Fifth District. With new endorsements from a government veteran as well as the business community, he was once again touted in the press as the best candidate in the race.
Former Connecticut Chief State’s Attorney, Chris Morano, lends his strong support to the campaign, saying:
“At this important moment in time for Connecticut, we must consider two things in choosing an elected official. First, we need a candidate who will be effective in office; someone who will get things done. Second, and perhaps more important, we need a person who possesses integrity; one who will carry out the job in a manner that brings honor to the constituents as well as to the state as a whole. Mike Clark is that person. I have no doubt in my mind that Mike Clark will be a great Representative. He is the right candidate for this time.”
C.J. Thomas, Farmington Town Council Member and owner of Ray H. Morris Division of Wayne Steel Co., Inc., states:
“I appreciate Mike Clark’s dedication to reducing the many obstacles businesses face every day. His history of fiscal responsibility coupled with his experience in business, education and government make him the ideal candidate to take on career politicians in Washington.”
Further, calling Mike Clark a “fearless crusader,” Colin McEnroe notes in his most recent Courant column:
“Of the Republican five, my favorite is Mike Clark, a retired FBI agent who used to investigate government corruption in Connecticut.”
Of the endorsements, Clark says, “these statements from three distinct areas – government, business and media – illustrate that I have the broad support that is necessary to carry the Fifth District and win in November.”
