Biography of Lisa Wilson-Foley
Lisa Wilson-Foley is an award-winning entrepreneur. She has owned and operated 12 businesses in Connecticut over the past 20 years. Lisa currently owns: AllStar Therapy, a rehabilitation company and Blue Fox Enterprises, a family entertainment business.
Lisa is a business trendsetter and innovator. Her medical companies provide high tech mobile testing services using cutting edge technology. She was the first in the country to offer on-site child-care at her public golf course. Her bowling center was the first in the state to ban smoking.
Lisa was honored as INC Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year for Southern New England in 1997 and has been featured in Time Magazine, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She has received prestigious awards from The March of Dimes, Junior Achievement and the UConn School of Business.
A Board member and corporator for many non-profit organizations, Lisa currently sits on the boards of The Renbrook School and The Bushnell Center for Performing Arts, and is a corporator for Hartford and Saint Francis Hospitals. She has been a mentor to many young women and is a skilled speaker.
In 2010, Lisa Wilson-Foley ran as a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut. She is the voice and face of Apple Rehab, her husband Brian’s healthcare company.
Currently working toward her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Lisa holds degrees from Ithaca College, Yale University and the University of Connecticut. She lives on a small farm in the Farmington Valley with her husband, Brian and their children.
