As a police officer in Chicago for the past nine years, Farah Baqai understands what it means to be a public servant. She is part of the core of America that is frustrated with the economy, unemployment, rising foreclosures, and the corruption currently plaguing Congress that hinders the American people from moving forward. She came to the United States in 1989 and became a citizen in 1998. She has witnessed hard work firsthand not only from her family, but also from the thousands of people she comes across daily who struggle to survive in this economy. She hails from a family of hard work and perseverance and instills these values in her two children.
