Smith Carries Largest Straw Poll To Date
(Murrysville, PA) – Tom Smith, Republican candidate for United States Senate, tonight won a straw poll sponsored by the Murrysville-Export Republican Committee and co-sponsored by the Westmoreland and Allegheny County Republican Committees:
“Tonight’s victory demonstrated yet again that Tom Smith is the best candidate to unify the Republican Party and defeat Senator Casey in November,” said Campaign Manager Jim Conroy. “We thank the event’s organizers, sponsors and attendees for providing this important opportunity for Republicans to hear from their candidates.”
The straw poll vote was conducted following a debate-style forum moderated by talk radio’s Rose Tennent.
