TOM SMITH STATEMENT ON OBAMA ADMINISTRATION BUDGET PROPOSAL

(Pittsburgh) – Tom Smith, Republican candidate for United States Senate today released the following statement in response to the Obama Administration’s massive spending proposal:

“For the fourth straight year, the President has proposed a budget with a deficit in excess of one trillion dollars,” said Smith. “Though the President promised to cut our national deficit in half, with the help of liberal allies like Bob Casey he has already ballooned that number nearly five trillion in the first three years of his Presidency.”

“We can no longer afford the Obama-Casey spend, tax, and borrow agenda that has sacrificed the American Dream for future generations,” Smith added.
