“My name is Kevin Downs. I was born and raised in Red Lion, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in 1987. I furthered my education at Penn State University and York College. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting in 1991. I have been a controller of million dollar companies and a local businessman for nearly a decade upon graduation from college. For the past nearly 10 years I have been a top senior loan officer for a national mortgage bank. I hold licenses for banking in several states. I have helped to secure nearly 1 billion in financing for local businesses and residential property owners.
I am married to my wonderful wife Amy for nearly 16 years. We have three beautiful daughters, Madison our 11 year old and Isabelle and Hannah our 8 year-old twins. I am lucky enough to have a local extended family, as well as many friends who have encouraged me to run for Congress. My hobbies include spending time with my family hunting, fishing, archery, ice skating, horseback riding and bike riding.”
