Above all else I’m “Daddy” to one cool li’l four year old. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I would be a good father until a few moments after he was born. He reached up and grabbed my pinky and I couldn’t believe the strength in his tiny grasp. He wouldn’t let go and when they took him to be weighed I had to go with him. I was blown away and everything that came before that moment no longer mattered so much. He had renewed my life right then and there. I knew in that moment, I could do and be whatever I wanted. It was as if my life had just begun as well. I’m writing this because you want to know something about me; well being a single father to a four year boy covers about 99% of the man running to be your Senator.
Now for the remaining 1%… I have great parents and grew up just outside of Towson. My parents instilled in my sisters and I that we had to work for what we wanted. I attended Calvert Hall High School and later went on to Towson University. I then went into business for myself, flipping houses for investors during the housing boom. In 2007 I saw the fallout that was heading our way. I folded up my business in time to make the move into what I knew would survive the downturn – rentals. I now work as a carpenter in Charles Village. I’ve done the best I can to live the right way and work hard while keeping an eye on the future. When I look up and see our government making inappropriate decisions for the majority of Americans, it goes against the principles I live by. I won’t list them here but once you know me – you will know a principled man. I’ve decided to step into the ring and run for U.S. Senate – to stand up for the hard working Americans who are not having thier voices heard and to reaffirm sensibility throughout our government.
