“President Obama’s decision to block the Keystone XL Pipeline typifies the disastrous direction of this administration,” said Mike Clark, Congressional candidate for Connecticut’s Fifth District.  “The Democrats are once again putting politics above jobs.  The current leadership’s policy will cost us nearly 20,000 new American jobs and jeopardize a secure and affordable energy source.  In marked contrast, my solutions as the chief elected officer in Farmington led the town to be called ‘a leading hub…for economic development’ by the Hartford Business Journal.  My policies are proven to support businesses and create jobs.  The XL Pipeline is simply the latest example in a long line of decisions that will cost this country dearly for years to come unless great change occurs in 2012.”
