Biography of Chris Reilly from Chris Reilly for Congress

Chris Reilly is a member of the York County Board of Commissioners. He is currently serving his fourth four-year term as county commissioner after retiring from office in 2003 to pursue opportunities in the private sector and returning to office in November 2007 .

Chris entered York County politics in 1989 when he was elected the youngest mayor in Dallastown Borough history at age 26. In 1995 Chris was the elected the youngest commissioner in York County history at age 33.

Chris served two terms as York County Commissioner from 1996-2003 and was board president during his second term. Before entering politics Chris was a York County Chamber of Commerce executive and a York College of Pennsylvania administrator.

Chris is a member of the Harrisburg Area Community College York Campus Advisory Committee and York County Parks Advisory Board. He received the YCEDC’s Friend of Economic Development Award in 2008 and was recognized as York County Action’s Statesman of the Year in 2009.

Chris is a 1985 graduate of the University of Maryland. He and his wife Lisa and their three children live in York Township. In his spare time Chris enjoys fishing, reading and cooking ethnic food.
