FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
State Senator Alberta Darling endorses Dan Sebring for Congress
Milwaukee, WI – The Committee to Elect Dan Sebring for Congress announced today that 4th Congressional District Republican candidate Dan Sebring has received the endorsement of Wisconsin State Senator Alberta Darling. Darling represents Bayside, Brown Deer, Glendale, Fox Point, Whitefish Bay and Shorewood in Wisconsin’s 8th State Senate District, which was incorporated into the 4th Congressional District during recent redistricting. The current incumbent in the 4th Congressional District is US Rep. Gwen Moore (D).
“Senator Darling is a proven leader in the Wisconsin State Senate, and I’m honored by her endorsement,” said Sebring. ”The people of her district that both elected her and then reelected her in the recent recall election have made it clear that they want a strong, conservative voice representing them in Madison. These people also deserve a common sense, conservative representative in Washington, D.C.”
Darling added, “Dan Sebring is my choice for Congress in the 4th District. He understands that there’s a time for compromise and there’s a time to dig in your heels and fight for your principles. He sees we need to cut government spending, repeal ObamaCare, and balance the budget to get our economy back on track. Gwen Moore has consistently voted with the President in our increasingly declining economy, supporting larger government and increased unregulated entitlement spending, which we have proven in Madison is the wrong direction to take. Dan is committed to putting the power of Washington behind helping Milwaukee get back to work, and doesn’t think that continuing to throw taxpayers hard earned dollars into failed public policy is going to take our country in the right direction.”
