REP. MARIO SCAVELLO ENDORSES TOM SMITH FOR SENATE

(Pittsburgh)  – The Tom Smith for Senate Campaign today announced the endorsement of State Representative Mario Scavello (R-Monroe):

“Tom Smith is a lifelong conservative who knows how to create jobs by getting government out of the way,” said Scavello.  “Tom Smith has the conservative message, professional campaign and resources necessary to defeat Bob Casey in November.  Tom is the best candidate to carry our Party’s banner into the general election.”

“Representative Scavello is a champion for common sense Republican values and a tireless advocate for the citizens of the 176th district.  I am honored to add him to our growing team,” said Smith.

Prior to his election to the State House Scavello was the mayor of Mount Pocono and former Chairman of the Monroe County Board of Commissioner.
