TOM SMITH TOPS BOB CASEY IN CASH ON HAND

(Pittsburgh) – The Tom Smith for Senate Campaign today responded to reports that Tom Smith had more cash on hand than incumbent Bob Casey at the close of the fourth quarter:

“Today’s news, that outsider candidate Tom Smith has a larger campaign war-chest than incumbent Bob Casey is further evidence that Tom is the best candidate to defeat Senator Casey,” said Campaign Manager Jim Conroy.  “Tom’s superior resources, compelling personal story, and conservative message will lead the entire Pennsylvania Republican ticket to victory in November.”

Smith reported more than $4.485 million cash on hand and Bob Casey reported $4.347.
