Biography of Robert Allen Mansfield from Mansfield for Congress

Under exceptional circumstances, life demands exceptional men– Robert Allen Mansfield is one of those men. In 2005, reenlisting for his second tour of duty in the PA National Guard, Robert once again signed a contract with the United States of America to support and defend its constitution against ALL enemies– both foreign and domestic. Shortly following his tour in Iraq however, due to a medical diagnosis, Robert’s military service was cut short. Unwavering in his oath, Sgt. Mansfield believes that he has, “a personal responsibility to fulfill this contract, and a duty to serve the American people.”

In 1996, Robert enlisted in the U.S. military, serving for over thirteen years collectively in the National Guard and US Army. His numerous citations include: two Army Commendation Medals (the Iraq Campaign Medal with 2 stars and the Combat Action Badge) as well as six Army Achievement Medals (the National Defense Medal; the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; the Army Service Ribbon; the Overseas Service Ribbon; the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “ M” Device; and the Operation Katrina Humanitarian Service Medal).

For the past eighteen years, he has acquired significant experience in the financial sector, running two small businesses specializing in commercial financing (CEO of R. Allen Associates Inc.; Chief Financial Officer of Ambiance Magazine). Sgt. Mansfield is also ardently involved in the community– and in his public life, he has spoken throughout the nation for over twenty years– discussing and promoting veterans affairs, “American Exceptionalism”, and the meaning of personal responsibility.

Most importantly, Robert is a devout man of God, a devoted family member, and a dedicated mentor. In 1991, Robert earned his GED and accepted Jesus Christ into his life. In 1996, he began studying Reformation Theology, which led to his ultimate confirmation in the Reformation Episcopal Church. Currently, Sgt. Mansfield is a member of the Grace Reformed Episcopal Church in Collingdale, Pennsylvania.

Today, Robert Allen Mansfield is a retired US Army and Pennsylvania National Guard Veteran, a businessman, and a committed public servant.
