Roy Hall (Lib-TX-8)
Roy Hall Congressional Candidate Texas District 8
Biography of Roy Hall from Facebook
I was born and raised in Longview, TX, a small, growing city in northeast Texas. I am the youngest son of a mother who worked nights as an RN and an Airforce Veteran and independent salesman father. The middle class community of Longview instilled in me a pride in hard work, and I took pride in taking an advanced curriculum in order to leave early and go to work. Working since the age of 16 has taught me the value of a dollar, unfortunately, current monetary and fiscal policies are only working to destroy that value.
I am a proud graduate of Texas A & M-Corpus Christi. During my years there I worked hard to pay my own way, some semesters holding up to 3 jobs at a time in addition to a full academic schedule. After college, I settled in the Houston area and went to work in public service, enforcing and encouraging fair credit markets in Texas.
I recently celebrated my first anniversary with my amazing wife Rano and look forward to many more. She is a dedicated, independent business woman and accountant.
I have been a true conservative (advocating for limited government in all aspects) since becoming engaged in politics as a young man. Past and recurrent errosions of civil and economic liberties made me realize both of the old parties were broken, so I became involved in the Libertarian Party and have decided to run for Congress.
My candidacy is for the sole purpose of restoring personal liberty and constitutionality to the constituents of the 8th district. I have no agendas, corporate or political ties to any other organization, nor any obligation to any lobbyists or any other influences. I have lived in the 8th district since 2008. I am a neighbor of the people of the 46th precinct of Montgomery County, TX, and I pledge to always represent the liberty of the people of the 8th Congressional district. I hope you’ll support our campaign to restore power and liberty to the people.
