John Griffin Miller has been a nonprofit manager for 10 years following a 25-year career in executive retail management. John managed movie theatres, rising to General Manager of a 550-screen company with theatres in 5 states, including Indiana, before leaving to build houses for low-income families in southern Indiana. John experienced the housing crisis first hand as Executive Director of an agency that built and moved houses, counseled future homebuyers and was a HUD-certified foreclosure counselor.
With experience in church governance, purchasing, construction, information technology and human resources, he now works for a military charity near Fort Knox helping post 9/11-families with grants of financial assistance.
He is 55 and the father of four grown children. He lives in Corydon.
