Biography of Bill Salin from William Salin

William “Bill” Salin (R-Indianapolis) was born in Clinton, Indiana and attended High School there. Later he joined the United States Air Force serving nine years active duty including the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. After the military, he worked for companies as computer engineer, project manager, trainer and business analyst – this has given him the opportunity to be exposed to many industries and a variety of individuals. He has owned and managed several businesses which have given him pleasure and heartache especially in these times. During his life, he has traveled to Asia, South America, Alaska, and Europe, Middle East and Russia which means that he has experience other cultures and does understand the International arena.

William “Bill” Salin is married to a beautiful wife (Svetlana) with a six year old boy named Jonathan and they currently live in Franklin Township. When elected to office of 5th District Congressman, he plans to move to the District be closer to his constituents. He is a Graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a BS in Business Management and an MBA. However, he believes that the real value come from life experiences and his grandparents or parents who gave him a foundation of common sense which no school can teach you.

Bill believes in the Second Amendment and supports National Rifle Association. Also he is supporter of the National Right to Life. Bill also believes that we should stick with our friends like Israel and not try to befriend those countries which harbor and empower terrorists.
