  • As a Plant Manager I developed a reputation for turning around distressed operations and creating a positive work environment. I did this through assessing current personnel, identifying deficiencies and then developing a team to implement Lean concepts. Consistently delivering superior safety, efficiency and financial metrics. One example of a Lean concept that I applied during my tenure; converted 3 indirect FTE into direct positions from inbound production area. Product flow was congested in the container repair/ welding department, which resulted in the slowing of production throughout the processing department. I increased WIP staging area by 4000 square feet and redesigned processing department unprocessed product staging area in Inbound, to increase product flow, which eliminated EE downtime resulting in an overall 28% increase in plant efficiencies.

• • While his friends were in college partying away, Berwyn native Bronco Bojovic was taking a different route, public service. At the very young age of 20, Bojovic… was elected by Berwyn voters to serve on the S.B. district #100 board of education, receiving 2991 votes in a low turnout off year election.
  • In 1994 Bojovic was appointed by former Mayor Thomas Shaughnessy as a Commissioner to the Berwyn playground and recreation board.
  • The following year after a bitter election battle he was elected to the Berwyn Park district board , in which Bojovic defeated a 12 year incumbent by mere 261 votes.
  • In 1997 Bojovic was reelected by a wide margin to the SB board of education, after earning the trust and respect of his colleagues he subsequently was nominated and served as Vice-president of the board of education.
  • In that same year, Bojovic was appointed as the youngest board President in Berwyn park district history.
  • In February of 2001 as the end of his term loomed Bojovic chose to forgo reelection.
