Dems Victim Commits Hate Crime
If you are under 18, we recommend that you read and watch the videos with your parent or guardian.
On April 18, 2011, Chrissy Lee Polis, a transgender woman, is attacked in a Baltimore, Maryland McDonald’s. Polis is kicked to the point that on the video you can see the start of a seizure.
According to the police report, both the assailants were black, one 14 the other 18 years old — Polis, who is white, believes race may have also been a factor in her attack. Equality Maryland wants the state Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler to investigate this case as a hate crime.
Scott Shellenberger, the state’s attorney for Baltimore County and a democrat, will have to decide to charge to assailants with a hate crime if Gansler does not step in to the matter. Maryland law would dictate that the correct choice would be a hate crime. However with more black voters in the area will that fact weigh in his decision, causing him not to make this a hate crime?
Help me out here, Sport: What in the name of good god’s syrupy green HELL does this have to do with Democrats??! Homophobia is no respecter of artificial distinctions such as party affiliation…
The democrat party has made almost everyone but white males a victim. Their answer; its a hate crime. My point is simple, if there is a hate crime, that would have been it. Yet at the same time it is a democrat that will have to choose between two voting blocks that, do in fact show up at the polls, black and gay. If the state attorney says that it is a hate crime, will the black community will call him a racist? If he does not move the case forward as a hate crime will the gay community say that he is homophobic?
Now as to the if above, only one side has been heard, at this time most would side with the victim, and will continue to do so unless something is brought forward to discredit Polis. If this continues to be the case, what will the state attorney do?

Your “reasoning” is absolutely ridiculous.
Ridiculous no, the State should be allowed to ask the court to give more time. However by creating everyone an automatic victim, the real victim is actually victimized not only by the criminal but also by the state. A simple correction of the code could be made, changing it to allow the judge to increase the amount of the sentence based on extenuating testimony and/or evidence, with or without a request being made by the state. Thus there would be no need to put a victim through what Polis is having to suffer.
I fail to see how this is in any way a partisan issue. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure if this would even constitute a hate crime after having watched the video in which polis was interviewed. While clearly ignorance was a factor, I can’t believe that she was attacked simply because she was white, or transgender(the latter of which is not clearly evident if you were to look at her). It just appears to be an attack based simply on jealousy and an apparent lack of parenting on the part of the assailants. Its obviously a case of felonious assault and possibly even attempted manslaughter if any of the injuries that the victim received were sufficient enough to place her life in jeopardy. However as I stated previously I do not think that it would constitute a hate crime. The fact that you are attempting to turn the plight of an innocent person in to a political vehicle by which u can spread your incendiary opinions is saddening and does more damage to your cause than it could possibly ever help. And for that u must thank you because the teapartiers are causing more damage than the rank-and-file republicans or democrats could ever do. Heres to hoping that you and yours rant your party out of existence. Although I fear that unless our country’s level of education rises, that dream of the enlightened shall never come to pass
