Obama Starves Poor

As commodity prices show no real signs of decreasing, we will face even higher prices over the next few months. See “Open Letter of Thanks.” Failure to increase crude and control spending has caused the dollar to fall and gold to rise in price.

With 44.2 million Americans receiving food stamps, they will hurt the most. Every time hamburger goes up 10 cents a pound they lose $1.60 in purchase power. With summer driving season just around the corner, gas is sure to rise even more. This will cause the price of other commodities to continue to increase. Obama has shown no sign of allowing the drilling of oil, which will cause the price to reduce as we saw under Bush.

So now the question becomes are they setting the stage to bring us Greece styled riots. How better to have a single group rise up, than to starve them. Will the progressives stop their assault on the poor before everyone is forced to live in caves?

Prices on the rise in the United States also mean that they are raising world wild. So what is the implication for America in the long term? Nationalization and war in other less developed countries would have a direct impact on the United States. We would also have inflation to look forward to, that would be worse than that given us by Carter.

American companies provide top equipment in most fields from exploration to software to construction. Herein lies the problem, those companies will be the ones that will be invested in the areas that are nationalized. Untold shareholder wealth will be lost and with that lose, jobs will be lost.

Should the progressives be allowed to continue their “Weaken American” policy, there may be little that can be done at first. We will face even higher prices and additional job losses. Rather than the government staying out of the way of individuals, they shall be dragging us back into a dark age.

They have spent around a century preaching class envy, rather than success. They say that people should be forced to surrender more and more of the fruits of their labor. If they are feel that people need to give more, they should step up to the plate and donate, so here is the link.

If that is not a wake up, this might help open your eyes. MarketWatch just reported “Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services said today that it affirmed its ‘AAA’ long-term and ‘A-1+’ short-term sovereign credit ratings on the U.S. Standard & Poor’s also said that it revised its outlook on the long-term rating of the U.S. sovereign to negative from stable.”
