New Gold Mine Open and Producing

The newest gold mine appears to be open for business and cranking out untold profits for it benefactors. Although Illinois never thought it would be a gold mine for their neighbors. Last month we published “Gold Found, Mine Illinois” which gives the foundation for this story. It does appear that Illinois is out to help their neighboring states rebuild.

“Illinois was passing a law that was restricting our ability to do business with 30%-40% of companies we work with for years and as soon as that story hit the wires, we got a call from Rebecca saying hey, Wisconsin will welcome you.” said Founder and CEO of Fatwallet.com, Tim Storm.

Fatwallet.com is a source for online deals and coupons. Illinois new “Affiliate Nexus Tax” would cause Fatwallet to lose 30-40 percent of its annual revenue according to Storm. To save his 54 employees jobs and his company, the move to Wisconsin was made. WOW that is 54 new customers using stores and shops in Wisconsin.

Catalyst Exhibits, Inc. states on their website.  “The Catalyst team is thrilled to announce that we’ll be moving our headquarters and operations to our new home in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Our move is planned for early summer-2011.

Catalyst Exhibits will be adding 105 jobs at their new location. They are also bringing 85 jobs with them. They make products to help companies set up trade show presentations. “The decision wasn’t based on today.  The decision is based on tomorrow, and where Catalyst needs to go,” said Roberts.
