Biography of Adam Hasner

Adam Hasner is lifelong Republican deeply committed to limited government, free markets, American values and a strong national defense. Adam is strongly pro-life and received an “A+” rating from the National Rifle Association for his record on second amendment issues.

His record as an unapologetic conservative has already earned him the endorsement of Mark Levin, Monica Crowley and Erick Erickson as the true conservative in the race for Florida Senate.

Adam served alongside Marco Rubio in the Florida House for six years, and in 2007, he was tapped by then-Speaker Rubio to serve as Majority Leader for the Republican caucus. His strong, principled conservative leadership in the House made him a natural to lead key fight for the elimination of property taxes, for deep cuts in government spending (including his own salary as an elected official) and for accountability and choice in public schools. Adam also believes energy independence is vital for America. Adam fought hard for free-market energy solutions and sponsored legislation to unravel Charlie Crist’s Obama-style cap and trade scheme in Florida.

By speaking from the heart about his mainstream principles, Adam knows how to bring new voters to the Republican banner. Even as a conservative Republican in heavily Democratic Palm Beach County, Adam successfully won re-election three times without ever sacrificing his bedrock principles by campaigning tirelessly and standing strong for conservative principles.

Adam is also a strong national voice for conservative causes: In 2010, Adam led the House Republican effort demanding the United States Congress pass a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution, serving as the founding national Co-Chairman of the citizen action group, Pass The Balanced Budget Amendment. He has also been an unwavering national advocate in support of Israel, has also become a nationally recognized voice in warning about the dangers of radical Islam, and he led the effort to pass Florida’s first in the nation law to divest state pension funds from companies that do business in Iran.

After the term limits he supported sent him back home to Palm Beach County, Adam returned to the private sector, and today serves as the founder of a financial advisory firm. Adam and his wife Jillian live in Boca Raton, Florida.
