The Wisconsin Question

Polls opened this morning in Wisconsin for a recall election of State Senate districts 2, 8, 10, 14, 18, and 32. On August 16, 2011 two democrat State Senator will be up. With Republicans at a 19-14 advantage in the State Senate, Democrats only need to hold their two seats next week and pick up three seats in today’s election to control the State Senate.

Voters in 6 State Senate districts will decide if financial responsibility and job creation should be pursued. Or only three districts need to vote to end it and push to return to Obamanomics, that is Trickle up Poverty.

The only thing for sure is today is about turn out. If the conservatives and TEA Party win, the children of Wisconsin win, the workers win and most all others. If the progressives win, the taxpayers lose, the workers lose, but the ones that lose the most are the children.
