Perry for President

Governor Perry made it official today.

At the RedState gathering in Charleston, South Carolina Governor Perry of Texas (Bio) made it formal that he is in fact a candidate for President of the United States. Governor Perry’s website was updated this morning to reflect that he was a candidate for the Presidency. Perry has been Governor of Texas since President Bush (43) resigned the governorship of Texas to become the President.

Perry said that what he had learned growing up on a farm was faith and thrift.  He went on to say that as Americans we now that taxpayer money must first come from someone’s hard work and that was why we reject Obama’s policies. And that when 1 in 6 Americans cannot find work that is not what a recovery is but it is what is called a disaster.

Perry asserted that Washington’s problem was that they would not make principled calls because they did not know how to take a stand.  He attacked the Obama Administration for constant downgrading of America, in not just credit but in all aspects of America life.

“It is time to get America working again” and the way Perry proposes that we do that is first give Obama a pink slip. The Governor continued to state that since June of 2009 Texas has created 40 percent all jobs created in the United States and Texas is home to just 1 percent of the population.

Perry attacked Obama’s one size fits all government plan with an emphasis on ObamaCare. He reached into the cornucopia of pro-American sprites and grabbed the cloak of Reagan and the mantras of the founders. He gave the appearance of that he was almost a clone of the 1979 Reagan.

Perry will join the those that are listed below:
