Cure Liberals, Kill the Hydra
For those that missed the stories of old, Hercules is dead. He will not be coming to our salvation. Wait, what did I miss?
It is all about the children. It could be your son, daughter, grandchild, nephew, or niece. There comes a time when you have to stand up and be counted because the line has been drawn.
Now is not the time to try and put it off. Now is not the time to say we do it next year. Now is the time to stand resolute and resolved to protect those children. Every minute that we wait the worse it will be for them.
There is no reason that we would be so callous that we should doom them to debt and poverty. What does it profit us in the intern? Do we need that extra bag of candy or a trip to the beach, if you cannot afford it, NO is the answer.
We do not go home and say “Honey, I saved us $8,000.00 today; I brought a new car, now we have a car payment.” When you have a car that works and it is paid for, you are near broke, this is not saving money. How is taking on new debt saving “us” money? Only in the minds of people in government is that a money savings.
It might be that the progressives have given us the answer. Might it be socialized medicine? It may be the “liberal gene” DRD4.
Just a thought on what they have done. The health system that they have pushed though could allow the next conservative administration to appointment the boards and managers. So will they decide that treatment of the DRD4 gene will need treatment? Would the boards force liberals to be treated? Is there a “medical cure”?
Could anything sound so “1984”, could Orwell have foreseen something so obtuse, more to the point is this an avenue that anyone would want to start? Hitler sent his victims to the camps, Stalin sent his to Siberia, Mao sent his to be retrained, Guevara just shot his. So in America, who will send ours to the doctor for a cure? When will the next great progressive leader show up and put us on the list with those that wanted to create the perfect society.
Our forefathers fought to give us a better life. They gave only certain powers to the national government, to protect us from the mistakes of past countries. Here we set running to embrace all that which they ran from.
The government that we are creating from our failure to heed our forefathers should be likened to the Lernaean Hydra, Cerberus or even the Gorgons. There will come a time when they will awaken and it may be too late.
Our hope, our prayer, our salvation will lay in the leadership standing up or in the vulgar; growing a set. They are or allowing the feeding of this beast and the only way to stop this is to return to feeding that which we can afford, otherwise it will turn on us and consume us.

They are turning over in their graves now, this sort of bi-partisan bullshit is opposite their intention and they explicitly spoke against it and warned of it, they warned of you. Just a quick response to your rant. First of all, sit down, take a deep breath and try to calm yourself. Your comment is totally emotionally driven and without any rational argument behind it. Reading it, I am convinced you have no idea what the framers intention was, you have no idea what bi-partisan means, no idea what a dictatorship is and no idea what a fascist is. Plus, the country isn’t really failing. It needs a lot of work to undo the mess the nanny state liberals have tried to create but, we’ll get there. Relax.
Wow. Interesting response to one person’s opinion and humorous take on what to do to fix a what he sees as a problem.
I happen to agree that there is something wrong with most liberals. Many of my liberal friends do not think rationally, they play the victim, and generally will not allow other opinions besides their own to be heard. (Which is why I do not discuss politics with them.)
In order to make yourself heard in this “grown up” world of opinion and humor, it might be better for you to take a minute to calm down and then address the points with which you do not agree. Unless you like yelling at the internet and raising your blood pressure, then by all means continue…

Sure, now we can’t be denied for pre-existing conditions and we get a token longer for unemployement or groceries but really, can you honestly say you are better off now than you were under other administrations and more than that, on our current tragectory or path do you see a wonderful and prosperous future? Think again about where the money comes from to pay for your increased benefits for doing absolutely nothing but existing? YOU ARE! But according to your unrational thoughts, anyone who disagrees should lay down and let it go on in the name of avoiding bi-partisanship. Well you’re wrong…its a TRI-partisanship now with the Tea Party. Therefore I can understand your behavior and frustration. We have differing viewpoints (partisans) for a reason. I’m just thinking the fine art of mediation has been a little lost and perhaps that might be a better way to spend our training budget. I’m sure Thomas Jefferson would smile. I am.
