Born and raised in the High Desert, Victorville Mayor and small businessman Ryan McEachron is proud of his community and looks for every opportunity he can to serve and improve the quality of life there.
Following through on his commitment to the people of Victorville, McEachron has balanced City budgets and improved civil services during his tenure as mayor – all without raising taxes.
McEachron was selected from among his peers to represent the City as a member of the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), a board that oversees transportations funding and projects. He also represents the City on the SANBAG Mountain/Desert Measure I Committee.
McEachron served on the Victorville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for six years and served as Chairman of the Board from 2000 – 2001. As well as his involvement in the Chamber, McEachron is active in the Victorville Rotary, where he served as president. His leadership has also earned him various appointments and positions on the Victorville Planning Commission, Desert Mountain Education Advisory Committee and the San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board.
McEachron is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ISU Insurance Services – ARMAC Agency in Victorville. He graduated from Apple Valley High School and received his Communications degree from Arizona State University. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Victorville with their two children.
Biography of Ryan McEachron from City of Victorville
Ryan McEachron was born and raised in the High Desert. He graduated from Apple Valley High School in 1991 and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Communication from Arizona State University in 1995.
As a member of the Victorville City Council, Ryan was selected from among his peers to represent the City as member of the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) Board of Directors that oversees transportation funding and projects. He also represents the City on the SANBAG Mountain/Desert Measure I Committee, and is the City’s delegate.
Ryan is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of ISU Insurance Services – ARMAC Agency in Victorville. He served on the Victorville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for six years and served as the Chamber Chairman of the Board in 2000-2001 year.
As well as his involvement in the Chamber, Ryan is involved in many other community organizations such as the Victorville Rotary where he served as their president in 2004-2005. Ryan’s leadership has earned him appointments to various positions such as the Victorville Planning Commission (2001 through 2008), Desert Mountain Education Advisory Committee (2002 through present) and the San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board (2000-2002).
