Biography of Dennis Jackson from Jackson for U.S. Senate
Dennis Jackson is a native Californian. For the past three decades, Mr. Jackson has been a manager and executive in manufacturing. His career has been centered in the metals industries producing high precision castings and CNC machined parts and assemblies. These products primarily support the aerospace, military, semiconductor and other demanding market sectors. He has worked with many of the country’s major aerospace and defense corporations, including Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop, General Electric, Pratt & Whitney and Goodrich. Since 2006, he has been the General Manager of a $20 million, multi-facility company in Corona with over 150 employees. He has extensive experience successfully competing against global low cost regions, such as China, India and Mexico.
Mr. Jackson has been an avid political participant for over 40 years and has an excellent understanding of the underlying forces of today’s political climate. This is evident in his founding of the Citizens and Country political action committee several years ago located at www.citizensandcountrypac.com.
He was born and raised in Los Angeles County by a father that worked for the Los Angeles Police Department and a mother that worked as an executive secretary for Rockwell International and later the Montebello Unified School District. He was a product of public education graduating from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera in 1968. He went to Brigham Young University on a leadership scholarship where he graduated with a B.S in Business Management in the university’s centennial graduating class.
Mr. Jackson was married for 33 years and is the father of five sons and one daughter. His three oldest children have graduated from college and are married with children of their own. His three youngest children, all sons, are still preparing for their future. The youngest is in high school, the oldest is in college, and the middle son is serving a mission for their church in Detroit.
