Biography of Robert Way from Way for Nebraska 2012
Robert Way was born in Lincoln at Saint Elizabeth Hospital. He graduated from Creighton College Preparatory School in 1996. After high school Robert worked in residential construction and at the University of Nebraska Lincoln as a boiler operator. In 2005, Robert followed his father’s and grandfather’s example and volunteered to serve his country in a time of war. In 2008, he deployed with the 4th Infantry Division to Iraq. He returned home to America in 2009.
After the completion of his enlistment, Robert Way returned home to Nebraska. He is currently finishing his college degree in history at UNL with the benefit of post-9/11 GI BILL.
