Biography of Brett Lindstrom from Lindstrom for Congress
Brett Lindstrom brings a strong sense of tradition, experience, Nebraska values, and common sense to 2nd District voters. He was born in Lincoln and raised in Omaha with a solid foundation of family values that emphasized the importance of hard work and commitment. As a child, Brett visited Washington D.C. on a family vacation. The excitement and sense of duty he felt touring our Capital City left a meaningful impact on his life. From that day on, Brett knew he wanted to be on Capitol Hill.
Tradition played a key role in Brett’s life as he learned the meaning of hard work and leadership. After graduating from Millard West High School, he followed in the footsteps of his father and two uncles to play football for the University of Nebraska. While at Nebraska, Brett was chosen as a Unity Council representative and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. Brett will bring the sense of teamwork, commitment, and competitive spirit he learned while playing football to Washington D.C. where he will fight for Nebraska.
Brett continues to apply his values daily by bringing his work ethic and common sense to the workplace. As a financial advisor, Brett is confronted every day with the challenges of our nation’s current financial state. Every day, he faces the struggles of Americans head on as he leads his clients through our economic crisis. It is this leadership, common sense, and experience that Brett will bring to Washington to help our country return to its glory.
Brett enjoys spending his free time at home in Omaha with his wife, Leigh, and newborn daughter, Colette. He is a member of the Gretna Optimist Club and can also be found golfing, cooking, and coaching both youth sports and individual athletes.
