Gregory W. Horton 2012 Congressional Candidate New Jersey District 1

Biography of Gregory W. Horton from Horton for Congress

An American Commoner who decided to join the fray for New Jersey because he believes in America and that our current professional politicians are taking us down the wrong path. He still believes in the American dream because he lives it every day.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Horton gained political experience by running as a candidate for New Jersey State Assembly, 6th District. He serves as the current CCGOP Committee Member Co-Chair for Haddonfield, past President of the Haddonfield Republican Club and past Vice President of the Haddonfield Civic Association. Greg worked closely with the Haddonfield School District as a liaison with the Garden State Coalition of Schools. This Coalition works with elected New Jersey officials to balance the school funding formula.

A third generation educator, Horton has worked in our local school system for the past 19 years. He currently serves as the Director of Athletics and Activities at the Clearview Regional High School District where he manages and directs the performance of numerous teams and personnel.

Chairman Horton is a graduate of Vineland High School and Old Dominion University. He resides in Haddonfield with his wife Kimberley and their three children.

He is a free market advocate and believes in honest common sense leadership with faith, family and honor being his foundation.
