Accountability

Accountability

www.merriam-webster.com defines it as follows: the quality or state of being accountable; especially: an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s actions…

So what definition of accountability are our members of Congress using? It does not seem to be the one above. Children seem to be more accountable than they are.

You have to wonder are they able to balance their household budgets. Are they spending twice what they make? How long would that last? What would their spouses do if they tried that?

Are we going to become Greece as we go the way of the dodo bird?

If members of Congress were treated as board members of company, would their actions be legal?

Now is the time to hold their feet to fire and in November of 2012 if they do not change their definition of accountability to come in line with ours… The time will have come to tell that what Donald Trump would say “Your Fired!”
